Buffalo Man

Buffalo Man is a mascot created and designed by Jay Kay and is the mascot of the Jamiroquai band. Sketched originally in 1992, Buffalo Man was designed as a "medicine man" of North American tribes and serves to reflect the environmental themes with it's buffalo horns.
Design
Buffalo Man is usually depicted as a black silhouette. He is a stylized depiction of frontman Jay Kay, rocking shoes, pants (debated to be bell bottoms), a sweater, and a buffalo-horned hat. His hat is interchangeable as seen in certain artwork with him wearing different Jay Kay hats. While most commonly depicted pure black, he can also be stylized to the album's cover whether clear, colored, 3d, or textured.
Appearances
Buffalo Man has appeared on nearly every studio album cover and most of the singles artwork. Other cameos include the LateNightTales: Jamiroquai reissue covers, Deeper Underground cover, live studio albums, Multiquai, Jay's Selection, and several pieces of merchandise.
