Jamiroquai are expected to release their upcoming ninth album in 2026. A title has not yet been revealed, although Matt Johnson, Jamiroquai's keyboardist revealed in a YouTube livestream that Heels of Steel had previously been considered as a prospective title. In a video posted to Jamiroquai's Instagram page in 2024, Jay Kay revealed that the album would be "an eleven track banger", although this may have changed.
